MY
BOOKS AND WELCOME TO THEM
Join April's Mailing List
Hi!
Thanks for your interest in my writing!
I write in many genres. I particularly love the juxtaposition
of words and pictures.
I'm lucky that all of my work has been illustrated: picture
books, dozens of poems in magazines and books; even
GIRL COMING IN FOR A LANDING--a novel in poems--has pictures! Every one of the 100+ poems is illustrated in collage by the incredible Elaine Clayton.

Part
of the pleasure of writing, for me, is sharing. My first
three picture books are now out of print and I want to
share them with you; the manuscripts are yours to download
below.
My words are also available on CD.
